5 types of exercises that strengthen your abdomen
There is little left for the good weather to arrive and the temperatures to rise, so it is a good time to exercise hard and get a perfect belly to show off outdoors. If you follow a healthy and balanced diet and combine it with the following exercises, you won’t have any problem when it comes to getting a completely flat stomach without any fat.
5 exercises to strengthen the belly
- The iron. With this exercise you will be able to develop and tone the internal abdominals of your belly. Lie on your stomach, prop yourself up on the balls of your feet and with your arms extended as if you were going to do push-ups. Hold in this position for about 30 seconds and rest. Perform about 5 repetitions of said exercise.
- Four paws. To perform this exercise, you must get on all fours with your back completely firm and straight. Contract the abdomen for about 5 seconds and rest. Repeat about 8 times and in no time you will start to develop your abs.
- This exercise will help you tone your oblique abdominals. Lie on your side and support yourself on the outside of the foot and the forearm on the same side. Then separate the upper leg and arm in a vertical position. Hold for a few seconds and rest. Repeat the exercise about 6 times.
- Lie on your back and put your hands behind your head. Go turning the elbows to the sides at the same time that you are flexing each one of the knees. Do about 6 repetitions of said exercise.
- It is one of the best exercises to strengthen the abdominal area. You should lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Then slowly move the head and trunk towards the knees and repeat 8 to 10 times.
