5 essential exercises to strengthen the neck

  1. First exercise. Lie on your back on a mat, bend your knees with your feet on the floor. Raise the trunk and in an oblique position, hold that position for a few seconds. Repeat this exercise for about 15 times.
  2. Second exercise. In the position of the previous exercise, make circles with your head without lifting your shoulders off the ground. In this way you relax the back while strengthening the neck area. Practice for a couple of minutes.
  3. Third exercise. Sit on the floor and immediately turn your head as far as you can to the left and then to the right. Repeat this exercise 15 to 20 times and little by little you will strengthen all the neck muscles.
  4. Fourth exercise. Stand up and put your hands behind your neck. Then push against your hands while offering some resistance. Hold this position for a few seconds and return to your original position. Repeat this exercise 15 to 20 times.
  5. Fifth exercise. Sit down and breathe in as you contract your neck and raise your shoulders. Release the air and relax both shoulders and neck. Do 5 to 10 repetitions and in a short time, neck pain will disappear and you will strengthen all the muscles in the area.
